Another theme I talked about in my interview with Emi Kolawole, from The Washington Post, was the importance of get to and beyond the “eureka moment”.

Everyone can have a “eureka moment”, it is that instant when you come up with an innovative and bright idea. Ideas came from anywhere, but the real challenge is to turn them into reality.

Remember: business begins with just an idea.

Most people don’t think their ideas can be execute because they are not taking the first step to do it: making an action plan, starting at the beginning.
In this regard, I learned first-hand from my father, the ultimate visionary, with whom I have an amazing partnership. It is really helpful having a mentor, a person that you admire. A person involved in your business life and that you can talk through ideas with. It really helps to be able to work through ideas and see what plans can be set.

I know that not everyone has this opportunity, but it is possible to make a “eureka moment” a reality if you explore the idea from different angles and most of all if you believe in it!
